CLOT' s Edison Chen Brings Silken Uppers To The Air Jordan 1

As part of Jordan Brand‘s “Fearless Ones” Air Jordan 1 collection, Edison Chen‘s CLOT has brought its signature silk detailing to the Air Jordan 1 Mid. Following in the footsteps of CLOT’s recent slate of silken Air Force 1s, these AJ1 Mids feature intricate detailing and potent patterns in equal measures.
Chen aimed to “build a bridge” between his home country of China and the West with the design, so the upper is dressed in a welcoming silk that’s equipped with all-over tonal graphics.
Sporting a woven nylon construction in grey, the upper is detailed with CLOT’s signature markings alongside a Chinese token-inspired lace dubrae which spell out “Jordan.” Finally, a fadeaway Swoosh on the sides that also reveal hidden details under the shoe’s upper via natural wear rounds out the design.
